Listen Now: G4 Boyz x Migos Remix “Bricks”

Migos, g4 boyzFrom the upcoming Ballin’ Wit No Deal 2, the “Bricks” remix.

Rappers love rapping about bricks, and unfortunately, I usually get the idea they aren’t talking about real estate.

The G4 Boyz, a group from New York known for their gritty street music, are no exception.  They recruited the Atlanta trio Migos, who managed to find time to actually hit the studio and rap in between Miami shootouts and Twitter beef with Lil Reese,  to make a remix of the track “Bricks.”

Despite the fact the G4 Boyz are from New York, the song has a distinctly southern style sound, and stays true to trap fashion, focusing on sound and slang as opposed to lyrical content.

Take a listen below, as they let you know they “bought it all from bricks.”

Migos Involved In Miami Shootout

According to WSVN News, Atlanta rappers, Migos, were involved in shootout this morning on I-95. One person, who is believed to be a member of Migos, was shot in the leg and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Florida Highway Trooper, Joe Sanchez, said that they were leaving a club when the shootout took place. “They were supposed to be performing at Cafe Iguanas in Broward and apparently for whatever reason there was an altercation or disagreement with management and they didn’t perform, so as they were driving southbound on I-95, according to the witnesses in the van, a dark vehicle pulled along side them and opened fire,” said Sanchez. “A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun and he returned fire.”

This isn’t looking to good for the Migos crew!

Nick Cannon, Migos, Traphik & Future Want You In Your Finest Sleepwear For “Pajama Pants”

Throw on your sexiest PJs and report to the nearest dancefloor!

In this day and age, twerking will never die out. Especially when you throw a few of the hottest acts out right now on a song together with a beat that women all over the world can shake their ass to. Nick Cannon‘s newest single isn’t for the girls in the club with their Instagram boutique dresses on- “Pajama Pants” is for the ladies at home who get bored and decide to make 15-second clips in their weekend loungewear.

So Nick Cannon has this Wildnout Compilation album coming out with a bunch of different dope people on it. The song isn’t out yet, but Nick gave me the okay to leak it to the people! The version with my verse will probably just be on the album version, and not the official single release, but either way, def a good look! We shot an official music video which will be coming soon, and I’ll probably do a fan version with girls twerking in pajamas if yall are down. haha.”

That’s a message straight from Traphik (a.k.a. Timothy DeLaGhetto), a rapper/comedian who appears with Nick Cannon on the track. Future & Migos decided to jump in and add a few bars as well, making this an instant hit. You can catch “Pajama Pants” on White People Party Music, Nick’s upcoming album set to release April 1st.

Will you be one of the many dropping it low (or up against a wall, or upside down on your head) to the track? Who knows, maybe you’ll make the fan version and have your indoor rump-shaking finally appreciated. Listen below:
